Carbon fiber was 3D printed to form the base of each Space Key. Each Space Key is connected to a unique, digital artwork via an QR code. Five Space Keys have been produced.

It's called the Space Key, it consists of five items that unlock an exclusive digital artwork created by the unidentified artist. Each Space Key contains a block composed of carbon-fired composite material, which was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a research project in 2019. After returning to Earth the block was inscribed with a QR codes that link to the digital element of the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs a few seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. Each of the five images was taken by photographer Fabian Oefner and contains over 600 million pixels.

Oefner used a balloon equipped with a camera that captured each of the individual shots which were then merged into the final image. The result is a picture that is completely out of the world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic picture of a car rising away from the Earth. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned soon, but there is no specific date or location as of yet.

Each one will be auctioned in a separate auction and the winner will receive an artwork digitally made by renowned photographer Fabian Oefner, which captures the five different moments that the Space Key passed during its journey through space.
