The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to pick if you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other options on this list which makes it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery halfway through cleaning.

It's extremely quick and does a great job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in one go. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and makes use of 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which can be helpful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can be employed to clean up larger debris, like broken toys and books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet best robot vacuum that mops vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping purposes it is important to pay attention to this.

You can also disable the side brush in order to avoid damaging carpets and rug.

This device has a fairly expensive price, but is packed with a wide array of advanced features. It is important to remember, however, that the device incurs regular expenses, such as mopping equipment and regular maintenance. It was able to capture an enormous amount of hair that our cats shed, and even got into the nooks and crevices of our stairs while other robots struggled. It was relatively silent and also had a few pleasant jingles that signalled when it was starting or completing its task.

The biggest flaws were its simplistic app and the need to swap between the modules to switch between mopping and vacuuming. The app doesn't have the capacity to store multiple maps, which could be a problem if you have a home with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want an intelligent robot that can do both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot automatic vacuum cleaner is the most expensive of our review. It does however, have certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its enormous dock which doubles as a charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a clean sink, and an automatic vacuum cleaner 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that allow you to start cleaning and then recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic cleaner and mop vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally get caught up in an obstacle--such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you free it. This was a rare incident, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its app.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You will need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't too bad aside from the fact that the mopping pads aren't washed and dried between use, which can lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern, sleek base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
