World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option lets players increase an item upgrader's gear rating up to 700 points and give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you take them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, don't change much post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can boost their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. In addition there are many weapons with an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. This bonus may exceed the damage that an upgrade alone can cause.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgraded weapons can also alter their base stats. While this is usually an excellent thing however, it could have negative effects as well. Upgrades can make things unusable, unless you are exceptionally lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to improve their performance. This can increase the defense base of a helm or chest as well as belts and gloves. These can boost their strength and agility. Armor also offers an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it may roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats it will gain upon upgrading, along with the values of these stats. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by arrows that circle in the menu for items. The Best item upgrader will be rerolled and alter its stats however, it will not reset the weapon's level nor connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make the world of difference to your survivability. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE boosts to poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, which makes it easier to navigate through tough terrain. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has the more value you get out of each point of health you possess therefore it is important to upgrade your armor as often as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four fountains in all each of which requires you to complete a specific side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the primary side quest and have completed the corresponding fountain, you can then speak to any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a good-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to withstand an entire raid with a handful of friends.

You can't upgrade your armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or spell power. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you use in the final boss fight The Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can gain some benefits to your armor. Generally speaking, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer However, it is useful to have a few improvements to the helmets and chest armor that allow you to stealth around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed give the user an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five types of potions, each with a specific set of effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount XP. This can be obtained by making them on a table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion as well as the Item upgrader mod's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI that allows you to select the potions that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.

In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be mixed in cauldrons. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron, it drains the liquid and replenishes the bottle.

Finally, there are simmering potions made using dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can also be added to potions that are lingering to increase their effects. The table of potion ingredients is now arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping and the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket can be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an object or ornament that serves a purpose but is not particularly important like a trinket. In some cultures, trinkets are used to signify friendship or affection, especially between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. As with other upgrades to items trinkets are able to be traded out at any time without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.

The upgrade of a trinket can be an economical alternative to buying an entirely new one. It can be done by the player for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base ilvl of the old one, and will come with an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once the old ones are no longer needed and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players and are an extremely popular alternative to gold.

In general players should make upgrades to their top-priority items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment that won't be replacing in the near future (such as rings or cloaks). When deciding which items to upgrade, players must also consider the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player, then they should upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.

Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed and the new trinket can be upgraded to have an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade will destroy the old trinket in the event that it is not salvaged using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades but still cheaper than buying a new one.
