1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO

The i3+ EVO and its i3 EVO sibling, the i3 EVO are both identical robots, but they differ in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying features. That makes the i3+ an excellent option for those who want a hands-off, fully automated cleaning experience, but don't mind taking the time to empty their robot's trash bin when it fills up.

Both robots are proficient at removing surface dirt on floors and carpets and can maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ in its navigation and clean efficiently. The i3+ does not have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or any other top rated robot Vacuum-rated robots we have tested. It could be stuck on power cords and socks and have trouble moving between surfaces, such as hardwood and rug.

iRobot suggests that you clear areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes putting away any toys or clutter it might encounter. It's also recommended to keep the dust bin and filter clear so they aren't clogged by dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is filled or the battery is depleted it will return to its docking station, automatically empties its trash into the station's dust bin, and then continues cleaning where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use, and it takes around three hours to fully recharge.

2. iRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with all the latest features. It is self-charging and self-navigating, but the most significant feature is its self-emptying bin. This eliminates the need for routine maintenance.

The Roomba i7+ can remember up to 10 floor plans and their names using Imprint Smart Mapping, an application that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and direct your robot by voice or through the app.

The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin which removes a major source of maintenance and cuts down on the cost of maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot on how to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After being connected, to speak commands to the i7+ like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world full of cordless vacs that are like minivans and buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an automobile. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in most homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.

The V10 is powered by a Lithium-ion battery with 7 cells of energy, which produces power that is not fading for 60 minutes. Its advanced whole-machine filtration system traps allergens and releases cleaner air back into your home. The specially designed head utilizes stiff nylon bristles to drive deep into carpets and pick up large dust or crumbs. It has three suction modes to match the task being performed. It quickly converts from handheld vacuum to floor vacuum, and then back to best floor vacuum robot.

4. iRobot Roomba 694"

The 694 is a standard robot vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have a lot of money to spend on a robot. It's capable of sucking up a variety of kinds of debris in our testing, and it often goes over the same areas multiple times to get a really thorough clean. Its flat front side helps it reach into corners and along the walls' edges, which is a nice feature.

Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate around your home, but it lacks the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models like our top picks such as the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. It can get stuck on phone cords or furniture and will often run out of power before returning to its base.

The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in many ways, as it has fewer components that require regular cleaning and is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, has lower costs for recurring maintenance, has more advanced automation capabilities and is better at moving itself. It also has a bigger dustbin and is charged faster.

The eufy RoboVac X8 has a superior battery life than the Roomba. It also has physical boundaries and can be controlled by your smartphone's voice assistance. It also feels better-built and has a stronger motor, and works better on bare floors and carpets with a low pile, as well as providing a wider array of automation options.

5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+

The app lets you customize the LED lights on the top of the vacuum to tell where it is focused or if it's stuck.

The app makes it possible to manually steer the robot when needed. For example my living room rug has a darkly colored border that has a tendency to make it difficult for other robots I've tested. The HRV 425BL, however, continued to move across the border, without notifying the high point. Also, the ability to program weekly cleaning schedules is a great time-saving convenience.
