Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This vacuum cleaner is an excellent choice for those living in apartments since it has a smaller docking system and comes with its own trash bin. Its app lets you set up different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping feature is also very impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance and mopping capabilities are impressive. It picks up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.

iRobot Roomba Combination

The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app for mobile devices that is more user-friendly however it's a great alternative. In our tests it was able to pick up dirt of all sizes and types from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as sophisticated as other systems, like LiDAR or structured light, but it still manages to prevent most collisions.

The Combo comes with many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus has, such as an onboard acoustic sensor to determine the floor type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it lacks the ability set suction power manually. It's also a little less compact than its vacuum-only counterpart and it doesn't have self-empty docks.

The Combo is one of my favorite options for most homes. Its elegant design is also one of the best robot vacuum I've seen in the market. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab that opens the bin on board and a shelf that can hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market, it's already made a name for itself due to its suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums feature industry-leading suction power, while mopping systems from the company include vibrating mops that help scrub floors clean. Plus, a wide range of scheduling and mapping options let you fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your specific home.

Roborock's obstacle avoidance function allows the robot to detect objects that are smaller than its own height. This is particularly useful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation, courtesy of both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to run over pet faeces and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master is able to solve this issue with a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that uses dual cameras to perceive the objects within the room.

Roborock robots also have numerous convenience features that help reduce day-to-day maintenance, including auto-empty docks, as well as multi-functional mop washing stations. These features make it unnecessary to empty dustbins or wash mops manually, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. The app is easy to use due to its simple design and the lag-free connection with the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

Its navigation is superb and it can navigate around furniture or rugs easily. It can even raise itself over steps. The robot can be customised by adjusting a range of settings including cleaning schedules and rooms it should clean. It has an emergency button' that causes the robot to return home in the event that its power runs out. It can be programmed to turn off automatically when an approaching storm is detected.

The RCV 5 is very easy to use and, despite being heavy, at around 4kg, you shouldn't have any trouble maneuvering it around furniture. Safety features like a sensor that alerts you to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by parents with small children. Once it is charged, the device takes only a few hours to charge and the two buttons on the top will turn green to indicate that it is ready for use.

The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that blends modern cleaning technology and affordability. It is a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's top-selling Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models cannot compete with. It also comes with an intelligent dustbin, that alerts you to its fullness so you can empty the bin on time.

The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable option for anyone looking to outsource their the chores of daily cleaning. Beko RCV3

The Beko RCV3 is a stylish and well-equipped hybrid robot vacuum/mop that does an excellent job of keeping floors spick and span. While it's not able to raise its mop on carpets or rugs like the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It also has a self-emptying bin, delivers an adequate amount of suction power, and offers many mopping options and can be controlled by a top quality application that runs on both iOS and Android.

It's a bit smaller than the other models and its main brush is smaller but it was able to do an impressive job in our test room. The revolving edge brush on the side is a great feature. While it didn't remove dirt as well as some of the competitors, it did a great job.

Individual cleaning parameters can be pre-set for each room and the device will create detailed maps of rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The app is easy to use and comes with various options for voice output that can keep you informed of the condition of your robot. Regular software updates improve and improve the performance. The application can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
